CT rock climbing is home to some truly classic trad climbs! In this 2 day course, learn all the necessary skills to expand your terrain and gain access to all that our local crags offer!
COurse Overview
August 31st and September 1st - 9:00am
Day 1
Selecting and placing traditional climbing gear
Anchor skills and assessment
Belay systems for the leader and follower
Leader security and station management
Mock leading
Day 2
Day 1 review
Intro to self-rescue, lowering and raising a follower
Leading (subject to change by Instructor)
PREREQUISITES
Climb 5.8 or higher, extensive top rope experience
Lead experience recommended but not required
RATES
$300 ($150 a day)
2 people required to make the course happen
